Regulations
The 25th IHF Men’s Junior (U21) World Championship Poland 2025
General Provisions
- These regulations define the operating principles of the Accreditation Centre during The 25th IHF Men’s Junior (U21) World Championship Poland 2025 (hereinafter: “the Championship”).
- The purpose of the accreditation system is to ensure clear identification of individuals involved in the organization of the event and to grant them appropriate permissions enabling movement within designated zones. This system supports the effective management of personnel flow and the maintenance of a high level of security.
- Accreditation constitutes an identification document (hereinafter: “the document”) valid for the entire duration of the Championship. It remains the property of the Organizer and must be worn visibly at all times while performing duties related to the event.
- The accreditation consists of the following elements:
- Laminated accreditation card
- Lanyard
- Accreditation is not an admission document for the event for the public (ticket) and does not constitute a sign of privileged status.
- There is an absolute prohibition on publishing the image of the accreditation on the Internet and in other mass media (Paragraph VI).
Principles of Granting Accreditation
- The condition for obtaining accreditation is the correct completion of the application via the accreditation system launched by the Organizing Committee and adherence to the designated application deadline.
- Submission of the application is equivalent to accepting the provisions of these regulations.
- The accreditation process includes:
- submission of the application;
- its verification;
- preparation and issuance of the document;
- The data contained in the application must match the identity document presented upon collection. In the event of discrepancies, the accreditation will not be issued.
- Collection of accreditation is possible only in person, upon presentation of a valid identity document issued by a state or educational institution, such as:
- national identity card;
- passport;
- school ID (in the case of minors).
- A press card does not constitute grounds for collecting accreditation.
- Accreditations will not be issued to third parties. An exception is the situation described in Chapter III, point 2.
- Information regarding the status of accreditation will not be provided to third parties – with the exception of members of the Organizing Committee (OC) or the Local Organizing Committee (LOC).
- Any irregularities related to the accreditation process, including cases of false use of the document, security breaches, or suspicion of abuse, should be reported immediately to the accreditation coordinator or the relevant services of the Organizer.
- In the event of a change in personal data or other essential information after submitting the application, the accreditation holder is obliged to immediately inform the Accreditation Office in order to make the appropriate update. Failure to report may result in the invalidation of the document.
- “No name” accreditations are numbered and issued based on attendance lists provided by entities cooperating with the Organizer, such as security companies, catering services, or others indicated by the Organizing Committee or the accreditation coordinator. On the attendance lists, the appropriate accreditation number must be assigned to each person, which allows for subsequent verification by the Organizer.
Obligations of the Accreditation Holder
- Individuals holding accreditation are obliged to retain it for the entire duration of the event.
- In the case of applying for a duplicate accreditation due to damage to the document to the extent that it prevents identification of its holder, the original must be returned to the Accreditation Office. Issuance of a copy will only be possible after its return.
- The document may be revoked at any time by the Organizer or security services, without the need to state a reason. A person whose permissions have been revoked is obliged to immediately leave the event premises.
- Accreditation is nominative and cannot be lent, transferred, or given to other individuals for the purpose of entering the event premises. Any attempt to transfer it will result in its immediate invalidation and confiscation, and the owner will lose the right to reapply for a new document during the Championship.
- Accreditation holders are obliged to comply with the general order regulations in force on the event premises, including following the instructions of security services, volunteers, and Organizer personnel.
- Staff members are obliged to duly protect their accreditations against destruction, loss, or damage. It is forbidden to make any changes to the appearance of the accreditation, including covering data, affixing elements, or laminating it.
- Possession of accreditation does not guarantee access to all zones. Entry is possible only to areas assigned to the specific scope of duties at a given position. Attempting to enter an unauthorized zone may result in the revocation of the document.
- Accreditation holders are obliged to comply with all additional event regulations, including the regulations of sports facilities, regulations of international federations (e.g., IHF), and safety regulations in force in Poland.
- In the event of a violation of the law, including attempts at fraud, use of another person’s document, or disturbance of public order, the accreditation holder may be held criminally and/or civilly liable in accordance with Polish law and the regulations of international organizations.
Accreditations for teams and delegations
- Accreditations for teams participating in the tournament are prepared based on applications submitted to the Polish Handball Federation, in accordance with the designated deadlines.
- In accordance with the agreements between the International Handball Federation (IHF), the Organizing Committee (OC), and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), the complete set of player accreditations is handed over collectively, according to the agreed schedule and operational arrangements.
- Members of the Organizing Committee (OC) and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), as well as Team Guides, are authorized to request, collect, and transport the accreditations of players, coaching staff members, and other delegation representatives (or their duplicates in case of loss or damage), in accordance with the entry list submitted to the Polish Handball Federation. The condition for carrying out these actions is prior written notification via email to the Main Accreditation Coordinator, in accordance with the applicable procedure.
